Hamsas are commonly hung in middle eastern homes near the entrance as a protective amulet. Assorted designs hand built out of clay and stamped with hand carved stamps and found objects. Glazed with hand made glazes and decorated by glaze trailing with a bottle and hollow needle tool, additional layers of glaze brushed over top. Chrome tin pink glaze adds blushing and depth to colors.
